Maintenance Engineer
Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Engineer for Technical Services coordinates and executes maintenance programs and activities to support the company’s goal of increasing equipment uptime.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts regular inspections, emergency and planned maintenance, and repairs of equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and safety
- Operates and ensures the timely availability of utility equipment, such as Medium-Voltage Switchgear, Air Compressors, Fire Pumps, Generators, and a Wastewater Treatment Plant
- Implements safety and housekeeping standards, ensuring that the monthly target index is met and resolves audit action items in a timely manner
- Identifies opportunities and implements projects to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and efficiency
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or similar field)
- Professional Experience:
- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry environment
- Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Programming and Commissioning
- Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafting
Maintenance Planning skills to allocate resources, plan downtime, and coordinate maintenance activities with stakeholders - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment functionality issues
- Ability to operate maintenance power tools and test instruments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, etc.
- Ability to work in MS Office / Google Suite environment
- Ability to navigate and work on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/SAP) Modules
- Interpersonal Relationship Skills to communicate, interact, and build connections with others effectively
